Exhibition Reflection
The Moment that sums up the Exhibition for You
The moment that summed up Exhibition for me was Exhibiton itself. We had been constructing our tanks and preparing our lessons for months and our Exhibition jobs for weeks. During our pre-Exhibion rehersal, everything went okay including our shift-changes. The middle-school along with the rest of the High school walked through our exhibition and gave us a good feel of what Exhibiton night is going to be like. Issac, the school's Director, and Mr. Gooch, our Dean of Students, also visited our Exhibition and gave us good feedback. During Exhibtion night, before the actual Exhibition, everyone was handed t-shirts with Dean's Coral Conservation Project Logo on it and we all needed to wear it in our for all of us to look professional or matching for Exhibtion night. A few minutes before the start of exhibition, everyone is nervous about having to explain the project to total strangers. Then, Dr. Patton and Mr. Leader gives a pep talk about Exhibition and sends everyone out to their first job. At 6 o' clock, people slowly start pouring into the school and into our Exhibition. Everyone stops being nervous, and starts explaining about coral, coral bleaching, or Curacao. After about 20 to 30 minutes, Dr. Patton and Adrian Vega start signaling for shift changes. The people who are explaining about coral switch and start talking about QuikScience and R.O.V.s, while the people who were explaining Quikscience go to talk about coral. This process goes on til the end of Exhibition at 8 o' clock. At 8 o' clock, everyone is exhausted from Exhibition. Feedback from the parents and the people who visited our project said that our Exhibition was probably the most professional out of the entire school.
