Top-Down Shooter User Manual
Developer’s Note: This game, as of October 9th, 2013, is currently a work in progress. As of now, the game only has three enemies that can spawn limitlessly. These three enemies are the raccoon, the wolf, and the bear. In a future update, levels will be added that would help make the enemies spawn in groups at a time. Also, new enemies, power-ups, and other stuff will also be programmed into the game. For now, enjoy the game.
Player Instructions
The goal of this game is to survive as long as you can through many levels and against a variety of enemies.
Your player is only equipped with an automatic shooter which can do moderate damage to the enemies. Although it can hold it’s own in the early levels, you are going to need better fire power to help you in the later levels. In order for you to defeat hordes of enemies, there are power-ups called Weapon Power-Ups that can temporarily upgrade your current weapon. More information can be found in the “Game Information” section under “Weapon Power-Ups”
You can get also use player power-ups that can spawn randomly throughout the map or special power-ups dropped by enemies. The Player power-ups, which can be found in the “Game Information” section under “Player Power-Ups”, can help preserve or restore health when being swarmed by enemies. The Special power-ups, which can be found in the “Game Information” section under “Special Power-Ups”, can help to reduce the amount of enemies you are facing to give you a fighting chance and help you complete the game.
Of course, in order to complete the game, you have to actually play it. As you progress, you will need to develop new strategies as you complete levels and face new enemies and new combinations of enemies. You can find information about the enemies in the “Game Information” section of this manual and under “Enemies”. You can also find the different amounts of enemies you will face in the “Game Information” section of this manual and under “Levels”.
Good Luck.
