What would it be like to fix PC's instead of Mac's?

What connections can you make between this internship and what you've done in school?
While creating my final product, Gustavo was asking us how much of the product we are done with and to finish a certain percent by a certain time.

Has anything happened that's worth telling us about? Funny stories?
I am called "printer-guy" by Gustavo and the Front Desk staff because I am usually the person who goes and fixes or helps them with their printers.

What have you learned about your organization's mission and purpose?
The IT Department helps maintain productivity when electronics, devices built to increase productivity, break or are hard to understand.

What new skills are you developing (or will you need to develop) for this internship?
I am developing problem solving skills and people skills.

I don't have any questions so far.

Solve problems as a group using current knowledge or researching online.

Not really.

What have you learned about your organization's mission and purpose?
Fix computers, printers, and projectors so that others can continue working.

What new skills are you developing (or will you need to develop) for this internship?
Problem solving skills. 

What strikes you most about your workplace?
Nothing really strikes me about the workplace except that I am able to get access to some of the places I couldn't go to as a student.

What strikes you most about your colleagues?
Dressed casually, like most of the students at HTHNC.

What strikes you most about the job you are doing?
For the most part, I just wait until someone needs help, or my mentor gives me something to do.

What are you excited about?
Getting more experience from my internship.

What are you worried about?

I was able to secure an internship as an IT at High Tech High North County before the actual Internship date. My mentor is Gustavo Bautista, who is the main IT at HTHNC. I know that I will also be interning with 2 other Juniors from HTHNC. They are Michael and William. Since I have secured my internship in time, I will now be able to update my blog with better information.
